The Network rewards are distributed from a reward pool divided between participants based on their relative activity.

This means that the portion of the reward due to you might go down if other participants' activity increases.

At its most basic level, it goes like this:
If a reward pool holds 1000 and you are the only person active on the first day, your estimated reward will be 1000. If on the second day, another participant has the exact same activity result you had the day before and your activity remains unchanged, your estimated rewards will go down to 500.

2key unilaterally increases the size of the Network reward pool during running epochs to ensure participants' earnings remain attractive.

The other possible reason is that some of the traffic downstream your referral chain has been identified as outside the SmartLink target audience or as fraudulent. In this case, the reputation points you earned from that traffic will also be removed.
